Globe Acceptance, Inc. was founded April 14, 2004 by Thomas R. Bernau of Bernau Capital Partners. In 2015 Globe Acceptance acquired Globe Loan Company, originally founded locally in 1914, and maintains Globe Loan Company the DBA for their direct lending branch.

Globe Acceptance gives customers an opportunity to establish or re-establish a positive credit history by buying auto loan contracts from auto dealerships. We look beyond the credit score to look for reasons to approve deals, and give options that will assist the customer in obtaining financing in addition to attaining their financial goals.

Besides special finance, Globe Acceptance, Inc. and Globe Loan company offer a credit starter program for high school graduates with a good job, no negative credit, and a down payment.
